Power Fabrications Design and Construction Specifications
Our commercial gym equipment is constructed using the following high quality components and techniques,
Power Fabs machines frames are made from 100 x 50 x 3mm, 80 x 40 x 3mm and 70 x 70 x 3mm box section steel.
Frames are blasted and powder coated.

Upholstery is 40mm foam with the vinyl being saddle-stitched onto an 18mm plywood base held in place with 8mm inserts.
Weight stacks are cast steel with nylon bushes fitted.
Most bolt-on accessories are laser cut eg: cams, pulley covers, bar rests and bench back rest adjusters.
All bearing housings are made from solid 60mm bar which is CNC machined for ultimate tolerance and finish.
Sealed roller bearings in 25mm and 30mm sizes are used on all moving parts. Machines which run on a cradle eg: smith machine, leg press etc. are 30mm and 40mm linear bearings.
All handles are covered with
plastic grips.
Nuts and bolts are 10mm and 12mm which are zinc plated and covered with a plastic guard.
Pulleys are 4.5 inch and fitted with a sealed bearing.
All leg roll and seat stems are fitted with plastic end cap reducers for smooth adjustment and no steel to steel contact.
Pop pins are fitted to all back rests and seat stems.

Rubber buffers are used on all weight stems to prevent damage to framework.
